Katherine Owen is vice-president and portfolio manager with the Global Equity and Income team at Mackenzie Investments. She joined in Mackenzie 2020; with investment experience dating back to 1996. Prior to joining Mackenzie Investments Owen was a senior executive and portfolio manager, Global Equity and Income team at a preeminent global leader in value investing for almost 20 years. She was also an associate portfolio manager with the Global Equity and Income team at a global equity boutique. Own launched her career as an equity analyst at a major Canadian bank. She holds a BSc degree in mathematics, and an MBA from Dalhousie University.
